Thank you so much for your interest in Ruth-Anne Cakes! We look forward to creating a one-of-a-kind cake to compliment your wedding. Each cake is made with love with you in mind.

Wedding Cake Process:

1. Use contact form to see if your wedding date is available. 

2. Coordinate a tasting. We can do in-person or porch pick-up wedding cake samples. Couples choose four wedding cake flavors from my signature flavors. Feel free to mix and match cake and fillings.

Pick-up tastings can be purchased through the shop, select your cakes and date at check-out. Pick-up is in North Seattle. The most popular cakes are listed are available for selection. If you would like to modify the order, let me know in the notes section of the order.

In-person tastings are held in a beautiful space in Shoreline, The Creativity Loft. You may invite up to two additional people to your tasting. This option is the best if you would like to discuss your cake design or you are interested in a dessert buffet. Please contact me if you would like to do an in person tasting. 

3. Discussion of the wedding: If it is an in-person tasting, we can discuss your wedding look while you are tasting cakes. I like to know what type of cuisine will be served, what your goals are for the look and feel of your wedding and what - if any - design elements have been nailed down. If you did a to-go tasting, we can do this over the phone or email. Any images, mood boards or invitation you might have are helpful.

4. Wedding Cake Quote: After we have an idea of what type of look you want and your guest count, I can give you a quote. Most cakes range from $500-$1,500. Cost depends on fondant, sugar flowers and delivery charges.

5. You decide to go with Ruth-Anne Cakes! We will send you a contract and you will send a non-refundable $100 deposit to secure the date. Balance is due 10 days before the wedding date.
